DAY 41
10,000 STEPS AND COUNTING
Somehow, the sleepy elephant just seemed to fit today.
Day 41 was a very busy day. I was preparing for an IPC meeting in the evening, so between calls at my desk I was setting up a display table in the auditorium, ordering dinner for the IPCs, choosing raffle ticket items to give out at the meeting, meeting with the RM to go over last minute details, etc.
The RM asked me to eat with them, but because he knows I’m on the diet, he helped me choose something I could eat. I did a grilled chicken salad with just the lettuce and the chicken. The dressing was a lime squeezed over the salad. I brought my own water, and no one noticed that my meal was different than theirs.
Another pound down today. [total of 16] Lanny was the same today as he was yesterday. That usually means he is setting up for another big loss.
Oh yes - - the IPC meeting - - we were expecting 60 to 80 people. We had 8. I got home just in time to be in bed by 11:00 p.m. [up again at 5:30 a.m. to do it all over again] I DO love my job, even during busy event weeks.
